Qatar win 13 medals in Dortmund International Swimming Championships

Dortmund, March 5, 2018-Qatar's swimming team claimed 13 medals in Dortmund International Swimming Championships on Sunday.

Omar Ashraf claimed the gold medal of 200m butterfly event and the bronze medal of 50m butterfly event.

Abdullah Al Ghamri took the gold medal of 400m freestyle event while Ibrahim Al Hilal grabbed the gold medal of 200m backstroke event.

Moreover, Abdulaziz Al Obaidli clinched the gold medal of 200m backstroke event for boys under 18 years old.

Khaleel Al Jabir, President of the Qatar Swimming Association hailed the results made by the Qatari swimmers in Dortmund International Championships and said that the results reflect the efforts of the association to prepare its athletes for international championships.
