Qatar win two silver medals in Arab Fencing Championship
DOHA, December 15, 2018- The Qatari women's national fencing team claimed two silver medals in the Arab Fencing Championship held in Tunisia.
The event brought together 119 fencers from 9 countries including; Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Iraq, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and hosts Tunisia.
In women's foil Event, the Qatari team including Fatima Dhahi, Gharaeeba Dhahi, Ameera Abujbara and Dhuha Al Abdullah finished second behind leaders Tunisia while Iraq took third place.
The second silver medal came in Epee Event where the Qatari team took the second place.
The state of Qatar was represented by 7 players including Ahmad Ali Ghardaqi, Mahdi Feryani, Wadha Rashed, Zekrayat Rashed, Fatima Dhahi, Ghareeba Dhahi, Dhuha Al Abdullah and Ameera Abujbara.
