Qatar wins Arab Parachute Jumping Championship Title
RABAT, Morocco, November 19 - The Qatar Special Forces Parachuting Force team have continued their sporting achievements after winning the gold medal in the 7th Arab Parachute Jumping Championship during the first Arab Air Sports Tournament held in Morocco over 10 days with the participation of about 300 participants representing 12 countries.
The Qatari team included Hamad Al-Marri, Abdul Aziz Al-Shammari, Rashid Al-Kubaisi and Fahd Al-Shammari, who managed to win first place and gold medal, ahead of the Moroccan team who finished in second and third place.
The Qatar team had won the World Parachute Jumping Championship in Australia with the participation of the world's top teams, and won four gold, silver and bronze medals.
HE Major General Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Fetais Al-Marri, Commander of the Joint Special Forces dedicated the achievements of the paratroopers team to the wise leadership and the Qatari people.
