Qatar’s Rugby player Safa Tgini receives warm reception at Hamad Airport
DOHA, May 6, 2018 – Qatar's women rugby team player Safa Tgini received a warm reception upon arrival in Doha at the Hamad International Airport after she suffered severe brain injury during participation in the outgoing West Asian Rugby Championship held in Lebanon.
The team player was received and welcomed by senior sport officials at the airport including Mr. Yousef Al Kawari, the President of Qatar Rugby, Hockey and Cricket Federation, Mr. Khaleel Ibrahim Al Jaber, Director of sport affairs department at QOC and women rugby team members.
It is worth mentioning that Qatar women Rugby team confidently claimed the first place in the championship, while the men team clinched the third place.
