QOA Course on Arts of Dealing with Sport Media concludes
DOHA, November 11, 2017 – The second version of the course titled “ Arts of Dealing with the Sport Media Outlets" organized by the Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) was successfully concluded at the QOA Headquarters on Thursday.
The five-day long course was hosted by the QOA in collaboration with (AIPS), Association international de la presse sportive and Arab Sports Press Association (ASPA).
The course brought together more than 50 trainees including officials from Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and sport federations among them Abdulrahman Abdulgader, Qatar's gold medalist in World Para Athletics Championships 2017 held in London, along with Qatar's Abdulaziz Belgeith, Asian diving champion.
The key lecturer in the course was Mr. Raed Abed, a senior broadcaster in the BeIn Sports network accompanied by a number of elite journalists from different sport and media institutions in Qatar.
At the course closing session on Thursday, the QOA Executive Director, Mr. Saif Al Nuaimi appreciated the trainees attendance and gave a letter of thanks in recognition to their outstanding coverage of sport events held in the country over past years.
It is worth mentioning that the course first version on the same topic was held from 15-19 October at the QOA building and received overwhelming response from trainees.
