QOA to sign agreement with Barcelona and Lleida Universities
DOHA, September 26, 2017 – Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) is due to sign agreement with both Barcelona and LIeida Universities at a press conference scheduled at QOA Headquarters on Tuesday.
The agreement will name both universities as academic partner in the Executive Master Degree Program in Sport law which was launched by the QOA earlier in January for the first time in the Middle East.
The signing ceremony will be attended by HE Dr. Thani bin Abdulrahman Al Kuwari, the Secretary General of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and Mr. Saif Mohammed Al Nuaimi, the QOA Executive Director.
The QOA has launched the Executive Master Degree Program in the sport law earlier in January in cooperation with a number of international organizations including the International Olympic Committee (IOC) , Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), ANOC and Court of Arbitration For Sport (CAS) and Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).
The program aims to spread awareness on sports law internationally and nationally, which helps students gain knowledge on international sports laws and how to deal with regulations correctly and professionally.
