QOC Secretary General attends 55th anniversary of Judo as an Olympic Sport

Tokyo, August 26, 2019- HE Mr. Jassim bin Rashed al-Buenain, Secretary General of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) attended the gala dinner and award ceremony organized by the International Judo Federation (IJF) on occasion of the 55^th anniversary of Judo as Olympic Sport since 1964.

The ceremony was held in Tokyo, Japan on August 23, 2019 on the sidelines of the 2019 World Judo Championships.

The QOC Secretary General presented two of the awards during the gala including the best male athlete award in the 2012 London and the 2016 Rio Olympic Games to France's Teddy Riner and the best female athlete award in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games to USA's Kayla Harrison.
