QOC winter camp celebrates Asian Cup win
DOHA, February 03, 2019- The QOC winter camp celebrated Qatar's historic achievement of winning the AFC Asian Cup 2019 on Friday.
More than 500 visitors watched the final match at the QOC winter camp where Qatar defeated Japan 3-1 to claim the title.
The camp director Mohammad Saeed Al Misned congratulated HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE the QOC President Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani on this great achievement.
Also, on Friday, the QOC winter camp hosted two beach rugby tournaments for men and women. Eight teams participated in Men's event including; Storm, Tigers, Doha Chiefs, Hurricanes, Doha Warriors, Wolves and Sharks while Women's event featured the participation of four teams including, Falcons, Doha Gold, Oryx and Doha Moron.
Doha Chiefs won Men's event while Falcons claimed the title of Women's event.
Mohammad Abdullah Al Meer crowned the winners.
