QOC winter camp host Beach Volleyball Tournament for workers
DOHA, March 4, 2018 – The Qatar Olympic Committee's winter camp (Al Ennah) organized beach volleyball tournament for its workers at the Sealine area on Friday.
The prestigious event brought together six teams distributed into two groups, where in the final stage, team Vatikara confidently claimed the first place and got a prize money QR 3,000 and team Shrood managed in the runner-up place and received QR 2.000.
At the victory ceremony, Mr. Adel Al Hashimi and Nasser Al Modahka crowned the top winners and referees.
In the event's post release on Friday , Mr. Khaleel Ibrahim Al Jabir, the Director of sport affairs department at the QOC appreciated the significant role of workers in promoting the sport activities inside and outside the country.
Mr. Al Jaber also confirmed that hosting this tournament came in recognition to the tangible role and effort of worker in community.
