Rashed Nawaf qualifies to second round of Qatar Junior ITF World Tennis Tour

Doha, March 20, 2019-Qatar's Rashed Nawaf qualified to the second round of 1st Qatar Junior ITF World Tennis Tour (J4 Doha) began at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex on Monday.

In the first round of the tournament, Nawaf defeated Jean Marc Malkowski of Switzerland 7-5 6-2.

On the other hand, Mubaraka Al-Naimi teamed up with Mariana Ramirez to beat Dana Al-Mudahka and Amna Al-Qaet in the first round of girls doubles event.

The tournament is organized by the QTF in cooperation with the ITF. The QTF will also host another Junior ITF World Tennis Tour next week.

The state of Qatar is represented by Mubarka Al Naimi, Rashed Nawaf, Ghanem Al Khelaifi, Nasser Al Yazidi, Saeed Al Kuwari, Ali Yafei, Meshaal Al Khanji, Adel Ghanim, Rayyan Al Jefairi, Dana Al Mudahka , Taiyma Hasiba and Amna Al Qaet.
