Shanan qualify to quarterfinals of Kuwait ITF Junior Tournament
Kuwait, October 12, 2017-Qatar's Essa Shanan qualified to the quarterfinals of doubles event at 11th Kuwait ITF Junior Tournament to conclude on Saturday.
Shanan teamed up with Jalal Sadek of Lebanon to defeat Zaid Ahmed of Saudi Arabia and Younis Al Rawahi of Oman 6-3 7-5 in the second round.
Shanan also made it to the quarterfinals of singles event after beating Oman's Younis Al Rawahi 6-1 6-2 in the second round.
Three players including Essa Shanan, Rayyan Al Jufairi and Mubarka Al Naemi represent the state of Qatar.
Ibrahim Al Khelaifi, Deputy Head of National Teams Committee at the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation said that Qatar will participate in Kazakhstan International Championship in November.
