Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Meets President of Cameroon Olympic Committee
DOHA, March 14, 2019 (QNA) - HE the President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, met on Wednesday with HE President of both the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) and Cameroon Olympic Committee Colonel Kalkaba Malboum, who is currently visiting Doha as part of the IAAF delegation.
The meeting reviewed the aspects of sports cooperation and means of supporting and developing them. HE Colonel Kalkaba Malboum praised the preparations underway in Doha for organizing the IAAF World Championships in Athletics, which will be held for the first time in the Middle East in September.
The meeting was attended by HE QOC Secretary General Jassim Rashid Al Buainain, and HE Vice President of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Major General Dahlan Al Hamad who is also Director of World Athletics Championships Doha 2019.
