Stage set for Commercial Bank Qatar Masters 2019
DOHA, March 6 , 2019 – The organizing committee of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters 2019 announced on Tuesday that all managerial and technical arrangements were completed to host the four day - championship at the Doha Golf Club.
In a press conference on Tuesday, Mr. Fahad Nasser Al Nuaimi Assistant Secretary General of Qatar Golf Association (QGA) unveiled that, this year championship will bring together 144 golfers among them top world names .
Over the recent years, the prestigious event had brought together elite professional golfers worldwide , among them the South Korean Wan Jeung-hun won Commercial Bank Qatar Masters title in 2017.
Since 1998 the prestigious Qatar Masters golf tournament has been hosted by Doha Golf Club. The annual tournament is sponsored by The Commercial Bank (Q.S.C.) and is held at the beginning of each year as part of The European Tour.
Many of the world's top golfers compete on Doha Golf Club's unique and challenging desert-type Championship Course, which has proven to be one of the longest par 72 courses on the tour.
