Team Qatar finish fourth in handball tournament at ANOC World Beach Games
DOHA, October 17 , 2019 – Qatar beach handball team claimed the fourth, following their 2-1 defeat from Sweden in the clash of third and fourth places at ANOC Word Beach Games Qatar 2019 on Wednesday.
The home side displayed impressive performance in the first half, but dramatically suffered setback in the second half , where their opponents Sweden were the dominant side.
In a post-match press release on Wednesday, Mr. Khalifa Taiseer, Assistant Secretary General of Qatar Handball Federation appreciated the team performance and success to won the fourth place in such a big international sport event.
It is worth mentioning that, Brazil team won the gold medal after defeating rivals Spain 2-1 in the final match.
