Kuwait, October 30, 2019-The Qatari athletics team claimed six medals in the 6th GCC Women's Games to conclude in Kuwait on Wednesday.
Rania Al Naji claimed the gold medal of hammer throw event while Mona Al Saadi took the gold medal of discus throw event for people with special needs.
Kenzi Al Alawi clinched the silver medal of heptathlon event while Salma Dhahi took the silver of discus throw event.
In 4x400m relay event, Qatar's Alaa Naddi, Kenzi Alawi, Maryam Farid and Maryam Falhoom took the silver medal.
Earlier on Monday, Bashair Obaid won gold in the triple jump event and Maryam Farid took silver in the 400m hurdles as Qatari athletes shone in GCC Women's Games
