QOC Wins IOC Award for Environmental Commitment

At the 9th World Conference on Sport and the Environment, the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) was honored with a special award from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in recognition of its dedication to environmental sustainability and the use of sustainable technology.

The IOC Sport and Environment Award, presented every two years, celebrates outstanding efforts within the Olympic Movement to promote environmental responsibility. Recipients are nominated by National Olympic Committees, International Federations, or Continental Associations, making this recognition a significant testament to QOC’s leadership in sustainable sports development.
