Kazakhstan defeat Qatar in FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers
KAZAKHSTAN, February 26, 2018 – Qatar basketball team suffered defeat at the hands of Kazakhstan in the fourth round's encounter of the FIBA Basketball World Cup Asian qualifiers held in Kazakhstan on Sunday.
Hosts Kazakhstan were the dominant side on Sunday's clash where they recorded a comfortable 96-63 victory over Qatar.
It is worth mentioning that Qatar national team has secured a deserving 77-66 victory over Iraq earlier in the third round encounter held in Teheran on Thursday.
Qatar will shake hands with Iranian counterparts in the fifth round's match scheduled on June 29 in Doha.
