DOHA, February 27, 2018 –The first ever IBSF World Snooker Championship will be held in state of Qatar from February 27 to March 2, 2018.
The 24 teams will be divided into eight groups of three each and will be played on league basis. All the matches in the four-day tournament will be best-of-five games.
The IBSF President Mubarak Al Khayareen said that valuable prize money are allocated for the top winners in the prestigious event, where the first place winners will get $ 15,000, the runners-up will collect $ 7,000 and the losers in the last four stage will receive together $ 3,500.
Two teams will represent the host nation in the prestigious event, Qatar B team includes Ahmed Saif and bashar Hussain, while B team includes Mohsen Aboksheisha.
