Sarah Masood wins silver medal in Asian Para Games
JAKARTA, Indonesia, October 10 , 2018 - Qatar's Sarah Masood made impressive performance to win the silver medal in women's Shot Put F33 event at the prestigious 2018 Asian Para Games taking place in Indonesia's capital city of Jakarta on Tuesday.
Masood threw 5 meters and 45cm to record a new personal number in the Asian Para Games and clinched the second place in the women's Shot Put F33.
Qatar's Mohammed Al Kubaisi made thankful effort to win the second place in Men's 100m wheelchair event.
In the goal ball event, Qatar team will shake hands with Japanese counterparts on Wednesday in the third match of group A which also includes Iraq and Iran.
Under the logo (Unity in Diversity) the 2018 Asian Para Games are bringing together 3000 athletes with various disabilities from 43 Asian nations who are competing in 18 sport event.
