Qatar’s Ahmad Al Haj aims high in Youth Olympic Games
Buenos Aires, October 11, 2018-Qatar's Ahmad Al Haj will participate in men's discus throw event at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games on Thursday.
His two compatriots Awab Baro and Abdulaziz Mohammad will begin their campaign in the games on Friday.
Abdullah Hassan Hashim, Head of Qatar's delegation to the games stressed that the Qatari participation in the games will enable the Qatari athletes gain more experience.
“Our participation in the youth Olympic Games is a real chance for our athletes as the games will prepare them for the futures." He said.
Over 4,000 athletes from 206 National Olympic Committees are competing in the Youth Olympic Games being held for the third time.
