QOC to celebrate Olympic Day
DOHA, November 13, 2018: The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) represented by its sport Affairs Department is celebrating the 16th edition of Olympic Day event ( Run event) 2018 at Doha Corniche on Friday morning.
The prestigious event will bring together more than 100 participants representing all community categories (men and women) with different age groups starting from 10 years.
The 3 km run event will kick off morning from Emiri Diwan to end at Costa restaurant, where top three winners be honored in each age category. The participants will be distributed into three categories: senior (men and women over 18), juniors ( 15-18) and children (10-14).
The QOC celebrated the Olympic Day annually to ensure community interaction with the programs of IOC and to encourage community involvement in sport activities.
