QWSC organizes social debate on woman issues
DOHA, March 7, 2019 – The Qatar Women Sport Committee organized a productive social debate highlighted a number of issues related to Qatar women community in different fields including sport.
During the debate, Sheikha Asma Al Thani, Director of Marketing and Communication Department at the Qatar Olympic Committee shed light on sport's significant role for women community in Qatar.
The debate was attended by prominent personalities in Qatar's women community including wives of Ambassadors accredited in the State , elite Qatari women intellectuals , journalists and Qatari horse riders, Moneera Mohammed Al Tamimi and Asma Yasir.
Also QWSC President, Lulwa Al Marri appreciated the importance of such social debates and discussions that came in coincidence with the celebration of International Women's Day.
She confirmed that Qatar women sport made considerable presence at the regional and international arenas.
On other hand, Netherlands Ambassador to Qatar, HE Dr. Bahia Tahzib-Lie lauded the bilateral relations between Qatar and Netherlands and ensured her country keenness to joint programs with Qatar to serve both nations in different fields.
