HMC , MPH Doping controllers participate in QADC Workshop

DOHA, July 21 , 2019 - The Qatar Anti Doping Commission (QADC) organized a two –day fruitful workshop for local doping controllers at the QOC's Losail hall.

Around 95 doping controllers from Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Ministry of Public Health took part in the workshop which focused lights practically and theoretically on the vital role, responsibilities and goals of QADC over the upcoming period.

At the workshop, trainees received valuable lessons practically and theoretically on electronic test system to examine athletes during the championships including the upcoming IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019 will take place from September 27 to October 6.

Dr. Hassan Al Emam, QADC test coordinator Appreciated the workshop outcomes in terms of briefing the trainees on new regulations and updates and how they use the measures applicable in doping testing.
