Qatar defeat Oman in GCC U18 Basketball Tournament

Manama, August 26, 2019- The Qatari youth basketball team defeated their Omani counterparts 66-57 in the GCC U18 Basketball Tournament which was concluded in Manama, Bahrain on Sunday.

The event featured the participation of the six GCC nations including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, UAE and hosts Bahrain.

The victory braced the Qatari team to finish the tournament in the 4^th place with 7 points.

Bahrain and Saudi Arabia secured their spots in FIBA U18 Asian Championship 2020 after leading the standings of the tournament.
