Team Qatar qualify to quarterfinals
Tehran-Team Qatar qualified for the quarterfinals of the FIBA U18 Asian Championship after beating Syria 83-66 in Tehran, Iran on Tuesday.
This was Qatar’s first victory in Group C after back-to-back losses against Chinese Taipei and the Philippines.
In the quarterfinals, Qatar will take on China while Lebanon will face Philippines. Moreover, Chinese Taipei will shake hands with Japan and Iran will meet South Korea in the other quarterfinals matches.
