Rashed Nawaf claims title of Bahrain ITF Juniors 2022
Manama: Qatar’s Rashed Nawaf claimed the title of singles event at Bahrain ITF Juniors 2022 concluded in Manama, Bahrain on Sunday.
In the final match, Nawaf defeated Serbia’s Marko Milosavljevic 6-1 1-6 7-5 to secure the title.
Rashed also teamed up with his brother Mashari Nawaf to win the title of doubles event after beating Australia’s Ethan Gottschalk and China’s Yahan Zhang in the final match.
The Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Secretary General Tareq Zainal congratulated Rashed and Meshari Nawaf on their achievements at Bahrain ITF Juniors 2022.
He also stressed the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation under the leadership of Nasser bin Ghanim Al Khelaifi, will spare no effort to support team Qatar athletes in the upcoming events.
