Stage set for 2023 FIVB Volleyball Challenger Cup
Doha: The Qatar Volleyball Association has completed its preparations for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Doha for the first time in Middle East at the Aspire Sports Hall from July 28 to 30.
The men’s event will feature the participation of 8 teams including Tunisia, Chile, Dominican Republic, Turkey, Ukraine, China, Thailand and hosts Qatar.
The women’s event will bring together 8 teams including Sweden, France, Vietnam, Croatia, Ukraine, Kenya, Colombia and Mexico.
The International Volleyball Federation had announced the program of the event in which Qatar's first match will be against Thailand on July 28.
Qatar Squad:
Mubarak Dhahi, Belal Abunabot, Mahmoud Waleed, Osman Abdulwahed, Yousef Oughlaf, Milos Stevanovic, Renan Ribeiro, Nikola Vasic, Ibrahim Mohamed, Naji Mahmoud and Mohamed Al Sharshani.
