Stage set for Qatar Open Golf Championship

Doha: The Qatar Golf Association announced that the 38th edition of the Qatar Open Championship will be organized from April 18 to 20, with the participation of 120 of the best amateur players.

To be held at Doha Club, the tournament is played in an individual system, where the number of actual hits for all participants is calculated on the first day as well as the second day, and then only the best 60 players qualify to play on the final day to determine the first places and the winner of the title.

Organized by the Qatar Golf Association, the Championship has come a long way since its inception in 1983, with the Association continuing to hold the Open Championship while developing it.
