DOHA – In atmosphere full of brotherhood and sportsmanship, the QOC employees participated in the family walk and shooting event (Shotgun + Air gun) for Men & Women held on Thursday at the 2023 QOC Ramadan Tournament that runs from 2nd to 10th of April at Lussail Shooting Range.
More than 30 QOC employees from different departments and their families participated in a 1km long-family walk with spirit of social synergy. Following the event, the organizing committee distributed in-kind gifts and medals to children on the occasion of traditional event Garangao.
In Thursday’s shooting event (Shotgun + Air gun) for Men & Women, the employees have displayed their skills and talent in the sport.
In the men’s shooting event, Mohammed Al-Kuwari claimed the first place, Rashid Saedan Al-Rashdi finished in the runner-up place, while the third place went to Fahad Al-Braik. While, in the women’s event, Al Dana Al-Obaidly won the first place, Nojoud Al-Hail occupied the second place and Sara Al-Kubaisi took the third place.
The QOC competitions will continue on Saturday with opening start of Padel Event-Doubles (Men) that will bring together lovers and amateurs of the most growing popularity sport in the country.
This tournament is accompanied by a series of entertainment activities for all age groups that in the frame of the QOC’s social responsibility to bring public together through sports.
By organizing this annual sport event, the QOC always aims to inscribe the true values of sports , promotes Olympism and strengthens Sport For Life idea among employees during the holy month of Ramadan.
