Employees show good Padel skills in QOC Ramadan Tournament
DOHA – The last 16 stage competitions of Padel Event-Doubles (Men) were kicked off on Saturday in the frame of the 2023 QOC Ramadan Tournament that runs from 2nd to 10th of April at Lusail Shooting Range.
Two games were held in the opening day of the event’s last sixteen round on Saturday, the duo Mohammed Al Kuwari and Fahad Al Buraik defeated opponents Ali Al Hammadi and Baher Al Shmawi 4-9 in the first game, while Ishaq Al Hashemi and Abdulaziz Al Balooshi beat Khalfan Al Suwaidi and Khalifa Al Shahwani 3-9 in the second game.
A number of the QOC employees are competing in the Padel Event-Doubles (Men), showing their skills in the sport that with most growing popularity in Qatar society.
QOC Tournament opening week has seen a distinctive participation from employees in the shooting event (Shotgun + Air gun) for Men & Women and in a family walk event for the QOC employees and families.
This tournament is accompanied by a series of entertainment activities for all age groups that in the frame of the QOC’s social responsibility to bring public together through sports.
By organizing this annual sport event, the QOC always aims to inscribe the true values of sports , promotes Olympism and strengthens Sport For Life idea among employees during the holy month of Ramadan.
