President Office & Procurement teams reach Beach Volleyball Final at QOC Ramadan Tournament

DOHA –  President Office and Procurement teams booked their spots in the Beach Volleyball final for departments on Tuesday, following convincing wins over Public Relations and Sport Affairs in the semifinals stage of  the QOC Ramadan Tournament that runs from 2nd to 10th of April at lusail Shooting Range.

President Office got better of Public Relations 2-1 ( 21-18, 13-21 and 16-14) in the first semifinals game , while Procurement defeated Sport Affairs  2-0 (21-13 and 21-13) in the second semifinals game.

In Wednesday’s Beach volleyball closing scene,  Public Relations will face Sport Affairs for  the third and fourth places, while President Office will lock horns against Procurement in the final game.

Thursday will be busy with two events, shooting event (Shotgun + Air gun) for Men & Women along with  a family walk  for QOC employees and families, where participants children will  get in-kind gits and medals.

The Qatar Olympic Committee competitions will continue on Saturday with opening start of  Padel Event-Doubles (Men) that will bring together lovers and amateurs of the most growing popularity sport in the country.

This tournament is accompanied by a series of entertainment activities for all age groups that in the frame of the QOC’s social responsibility to bring public together through sports.

By organizing this annual sport event, the QOC always aims to inscribe the true values of sports , promotes  Olympism  and strengthens Sport For Life idea among employees during the holy month of Ramadan.
