President Office team win Beach Volleyball Trophy at QOC Ramadan Tournament
DOHA – President Office team won the Beach Volleyball Trophy for departments on Wednesday, after a convincing 2-0 victory over Procurement team in the final game at the 2023 QOC Ramadan Tournament that runs from 2nd to 10th of April at lusail Shooting Range.
President Office team produced an impressive performance, dominated the game, won 2-0 (21-13 and 21-19) to claim Beach Volleyball title for departments, while opponents Procurement teams settled in the runner-up place.
In the game for third and fourth places, Public Relations team seized the third place after defeating opponents Sport Affairs team 2-0 (21-17 and 21-15).
Thursday will be busy with two events, shooting event (Shotgun + Air gun) for Men & Women along with a family walk for the QOC employees and families, where participants from children will get in-kind gifts and medals.
The QOC competitions will continue on Saturday with opening start of Padel Event-Doubles (Men) that will bring together lovers and amateurs of the most growing popularity sport in the country.
This tournament is accompanied by a series of entertainment activities for all age groups that in the frame of the QOC’s social responsibility to bring public together through sports.
By organizing this annual sport event, the QOC always aims to inscribe the true values of sports , promotes Olympism and strengthens Sport For Life idea among employees during the holy month of Ramadan.
