QOC Announces Resumption of Sporting Activities After July 20

Doha, May 17, 2020- The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) today announced that it has extended the suspension of all local sports activities till July 20, 2020. The remaining activities from the 2019-2020 sporting calendar will be resumed after that date.

The QOC said in a statement today that the decision came in line with the protective measures taken by the State of Qatar to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health.
