DOHA – The Qatar Esports Federation (QESF) is participating in the the Arab Esports League, organized by the Arab Esports Federation from 1-2 September in Saudi Arabia’s capital city Riyadh.
The event will bring together video gamers from sixteen Arab countries, including Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Algeria, Somalia, Djibouti, Bahrain, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Palestine, Morocco, United Arab Emirates and the host country Saudi Arabia.
Sheikh Jassim bin Naser Al Thani, set to compete in 7Tekken category will be representing QESF at the competition.
Top-ranked players and teams will battle for top honors across two titles for a total prize Monday of 150,000 SAR. The two days of competition will mark the closing week of the Gamers8 Festival hosted in the city.
The Arab Esports League is a greatly aids the Arab gaming sector’s exponential growth which has been witnessed to date. It aims to attract new players to the Esports League and allow existing players to build their networks allow players an opportunity to network and discuss the latest trends in the industry.
