Amman-Qatar’s fencing team has pushed the limits to claim three medals on Tuesday, including gold, sliver and bronze at the ongoing West Asian U-20 Fencing Championship in Jordanian’s capital city of Amman.
In the men’s Epee, Qatar’s Jaber Al-Fadaaq won the gold medal after defeating Hassan Al-Abed of Saudi Arabia, as his teammates, Haya Diyab and Lina Al Buenain claimed the silver and bronze medals in Women’s Epee and Foil respectively.
Tuesday’s victories, took Qatar’s medal tally to 4 medals, as fencers still aspire to hit high new levels of achievements in the remained days of West Asian championship.
It is worth mentioning that 150 fencers representing 11 countries - Qatar, Palestine, Oman, Kuwait, Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iraq, Lebanon, and the host Jordan - are taking part in the championship.
