Qatar defeat Saudi Arabia in Asian Men's Beach Handball Championships
Bali : Qatar men's beach handball team kept their winning streak for third consecutive game after defeating Saudi Arabi 2-0 at the 9th Asian Men's Beach Handball Championships on Sunday.
By Sunday’s victory over Saudi Arabia , team Qatar raised up points tally to six points from three games and will shake hands with the defending champions, Iran on Wednesday.
The event is held in Bali, Indonesia from 10 to 19 March 2023 and serves as a qualification tournament for the 2024 IHF Men's and Women's Beach Handball World Championships.
Team Qatar were pooled in Group A with Iran, Philippines, Republic of Korea and Saudi Arabia while Group (B) includes Indonesia, Vietnam, Oman, Hong Kong, Kuwait and China.
Qatar’s Squad:
Muhsen Al Yafei, Mohamed Al Sousi, Mohamed Hassan, Ali Mohamed, Abdulrazaq Murad, Amer Denger, Hamdi Ayad, Hani Kakhi, Mohamed Saleh and Sayed Kenawi.
