QOC Beach Games get big response as it enters Day Four

DOHA – In  a scene  full  of sportsmanship and fair play , the third (QOC) Beach Games 2023 have seen competitive games between participants held at the Cultural Village Katara on Sunday. 

In the men’s open water swimming on Sunday,  Naoufel Charaf  eddine claimed the first place, Vadym Lepskyy snatched the runner up place, as the third place went to Shalbab Mohammed Al Waleed..

In the Men’s  U-15 open water swimming, Hassan Yousef won first place, Mohammed Aziz Ismail seized the second place and El Ekhalda Abdulla took the third place.

In  U-14 Open water swimming,  Morsi Ziad claimed the first place, El Khamayda Abdullah took the second place while  Marwan Ahmed Hassan seized the third place.

Sunday schedule  has  seen  mouth-watering games in Boxing, where Ihsan Khan beat Mohammed Mansour in the U-57gm,  Hakeemo Sembiga defeated Sowed Kyewalyanga in the 63gm, while in the 71gm, Sufyan Ahwaz overcome Ali Arto.

QOC Beach Games are running from 10th to 17th of March with  more than 800 participants   who are competing for top honors in seven beach games, football , volleyball, 3x3 basketball, boxing , karate, swimming and Aquathlon.

This current edition of QOC Beach Games is organized in the frame of cooperation between the QOC and the Indonesian Olympic Committee with purpose of transferring the incredible experience it has after hosting the inaugural edition of ANOC World Beach Games in 2019 to their Indonesians counterparts who will  be hosting the next edition from 5th to 12th August, 2023.
