DOHA – The football and volleyball events of the third QOC Beach Games , which running from 10th to 17th of March at the Cultural Village Katara will enter the semifinals stage on Tuesday.
In the men’s beach football on Monday, Police Institute defeated Al-Quds 10-0, Green Owl outclass Dukhan 10-0, Lusail beat Al Najma 12-6, Al Jasra got better of Dakhira 7-1. These four winners booked their spots in the semifinals stage.
Tuesday’s football semifinals , Green Owl will shake hands with Lusail as Al Jasra will lock horns against Dukhan in the second semifinals.
In the the Men’s volleyball, F 45 team will shake hands with Dafna in the first semifinals game, as Edge Fitness will play Police Sport Federation in the second semifinals games.
In the men’s boxing final on Monday, Marvin Ssali claimed the first place in the 57kgs, Messaoud Hadji won the runner- up place and the third place went to Ihsan Khan.
In the men 63,5 kgs boxing final, the first place went to Bravol Hassan Buyinza, Hakimu Ssempijja seized the second place and Sowed Kyewalyanga finished third.
Boxer, Sofiane Ahmouz produced solid performance to win first place in the men’s 71kgs as Desire Busuulwa took the second place and third place went to Bagoma Sultanov.
In the men’s 80kgs, Ali Werghi won the first place, Ahmed Said Al Maqbali finished second and Bachir Meliani took the third place.
At the crowning ceremony, the Qatar Boxing and Wrestling Federation President, Sheikh Fahad bin Khalid Al Thani shared the honoring ceremony of the top winners with attendance of QBWF officials and the QOC Beach Games’s Organizing Committee members.
