Sheikh Joaan attends ANOC Executive Council Meeting
Madrid – Spain, The ANOC Senior-Vice President and the President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) , H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani attended on Friday the ANOC 87th Executive Council Meeting held in the Spanish Capital city of Madrid.
The meeting was attended by ANOC President H.E Dr. Robin Mitchell and ANOC Executive Council members . The meeting discussed a number of current issues and put solutions in place to keep progress of the Olympic movement.
Attendees reviewed the means of boosting Olympic solidarity between NOCs and how to raise up the level of awareness about importance of making sustainability applicable during the organization of the sport events.
Updates and preparations of the 2023 ANOC World Beach Games to be held from 5-12 August in Bali, Indonesia were discussed also decisions have been taken on series of topics listed in the meeting agenda.
