Team Qatar opens GCC U-16 Basketball Championship with dominant performance
Jeddah - Qatar Junior basketball team began their campaign in the GCC U16 Basketball Championship 2023 with a convincing 93-57 victory over Bahrain in Saudi Arabia’ coastal city of Jeddah on Tuesday.
In its opening game, team Qatar produced a solid performance, dominated the match from the first minute to the final whistle , earned the stripes and came out victorious.
This one week-long event is bringing together four teams, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
It is a qualifying tournament to FIBA U16 Asian Basketball Championship 2023.
