Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Elected Vice President of Arab Football Association
Riyadh - HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani was elected by acclamation Vice-President of the Arab Football Association for Asia Continent for the current electoral cycle that extends until 2025.
This came on the margin of the 27th meeting of the Arab Football Association General Assembly, which was held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Late July, the Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced the candidacy of HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani for the position of Vice-President of the Arab Football Association and for membership of the Arab Football Association Council for the current session.
His Excellency also won the membership of the Executive Council of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) for Asia, in the elections that took place during the 33rd General Assembly of the Asian Confederation, which was held last February.
