Team Qatar beat Philippines in William Jones Cup
Chinese Taipei- The Qatar basketball team have secured their first victory Tuesday in the 42nd edition William Jones Cup 2023 , which run from 12 to 20 August in Chinese Taipei.
Team Qatar produced a solid performance to get better of Philippines 93-86 in the fourth round match of the tournament. Team Qatar will shake hands with United Arab Emirates on Wednesday.
The event is featuring teams who will take part in the 19th edition of the FIBA World Cup which will be held in Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines from August 25 to September 10.
