Sport Events & Procurement advance to Beach Volleyball Final at QOC Ramadan Tournament
DOHA – Sport events and procurement teams were victorious on Saturday to reach the final game of Beach Volleyball event of the QOC Ramadan Tournament 2024 , which is running from 17th to 26th of March at the Lusail Shooting Range.
The QOC beach volleyball semifinals games on Saturday was attended by H.E. Second Vice-President of QOC , Dr. Thani bin Abdulrahman Al Kuwari, Sheikh Khalifa bin Khalid Al-Thani, the QOC’s Director of Sport Sector and number of QOC officials and employees.
In Saturday’s first semifinals game, Sport Events team got better of Secretariat - General Office 2-0, while Procurement team edged out President Office 2-0. The finalists will play for title clash on Tuesday.
After a decisive game for third and fourth places held later on Saturday, President Office recorded a 2-0 victory over Secretariat - General Office to secure a place on beach volleyball podium on Tuesday.
The Padel Event-Doubles (Men) will start with four games on Sunday, where the duo Omar Waleed Al Hammadi & Mohammed Waleed Al Hammadi will face the duo Sheikh Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Thani & Salem Abdulhaleem Ali in the opening game, while the duo Ghanim Salman Al-Naemi & Khalid Abdulla Al Sulaiti will take on the duo Salah Awad Al-Sinaidi & Fahad Hussain Al-Breik.
In the third game, Ahmed Al-Naemi & Abdulaziz Al-Subaie will lock horns against Bahir Ziyad Al-Ashmaawi & Mohammed Ali Al Kuwari while Kamal Abdulazeem Mohammed & Ayad Kamal Mohammed will face Adel Mohamed Al-Hashimi and Saud Adel Al-Hashimi in the fourth game.
This QOC Ramadan Tournament is seeing three key sport disciplines, Beach Volleyball ( for departments), Shooting event (Shotgun + Air gun) for Men , Women and families and Padel Event-Doubles (Men).
