Draw held for Asian Men's Handball Championship
Manama: The draw for the 21st Asian Men's Handball Championship took place on Friday in Manama.
The championship will be held in Bahrain from January 11 to 22, 2024, and will also serve as a qualification tournament for the World Championship, with the top 4 teams from the competition qualifying for the 29th IHF Men's Handball World Championship to be held in Croatia, Denmark, and Norway from January 9-27, 2025.
The draw placed Qatar in Group A alongside Kuwait, Oman, and Chinese Taipei while Group B included Iran, South Korea, China, and New Zealand. Group C consisted of Saudi Arabia, Iraq, India, and Japan, and Bahrain, UAE, Hong Kong, and Kazakhstan where drawn in Group D.
