QOA to organize Master's program in Sports Law

DOHA, May 29, 2019 - The Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) announced on Tuesday that it will organize the third edition of Executive Master's Program in Sports Law in cooperation with University of LIeida (Spain) alongside a number of international organizations such as International Olympic Committee (IOC), Olympic Council of Asia, Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), and Qatar Olympic Committee .

A number of PhDs holders in sport law , academics at University of LIeida and certified international lecturers in sport law shall deliver exhaustive presentations on sport law during program duration in Doha.

In a pre- program statement on Tuesday, Mr. Saif Mohammed Al Nuaimi, QOA Executive Director said that the program aims to spread awareness on sports law internationally and nationally, which helps students gain knowledge on international sports laws and how to deal with regulations correctly and professionally.

The program will work on supporting the legal expertise and developing legal entities in national and international sports institutions.

The lecturers are a number of experts in the field of sports law, most of which are certified members in the in Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) .
