DOHA – The Qatar Shooting and Archery Association has honored team Qatar shooting champions , following amazing achievements they made at Asian Shooting Championships, which is a qualifying event to 2024 Paris Olympics.
This honoring moment comes as incentive to encourage those champions to keep their good run and shine in the tournaments to come.
Team Qatar delegation was given a festive reception by Dr. Mishall Ibrahim Al Nasr, President of Qatar Shooting and Archery Association (QSAA) upon its arrival at Hamad International Airport .
Most notably, Qatar’s Saeed Abu Sharib bagged 2024 Paris Olympics quota place after winning silver in the men’s trap individual event at the Asian Shooting Championships in Changwon, South Korea.
In the men’s trap for team, Qatar trio of Saeed Abu Sharid, Mohammed Al Rumaihi and Rashid Al Athba won gold with a total score of 344, ahead of India’s team of Zoravar Singh, Prithviraj Tondaiman and Kynan Chenai (341).
